The story of a girl with a camera

Hey Ya'll! My name is Jesse, and I live in Columbia, Maryland with my Husband Mark, and our 4 children, Brendan, Atlee, Carter and Eleanor. I actually have 5 children if you count Jack, our 14 year old pug (which I totally do).

I grew up with a camera in my hand.. before we all had a camera phone in our pockets! My love of photography started with watching my Dad, although he never pursued photography professionally, he was always photographing my sister and I at all our sporting events, and also playing around with nature and underwater photography. I decided I wanted to do photography full time, so I went to school and got my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography and have been capturing emotional memories ever since. My professional photography career started in 2007, I began J Row Photography as soon as I graduated, and continued my training and education by working along side seasoned photographers in portraiture. As I grew my business, I began to focus on family and newborn photography, and I'm so happy every time I can give a family images I know they will cherish forever.

I started J Row Photography with the hope of giving others tangible memories to cherish forever. My approach is to naturally capture our subjects and what makes them unique. Throughout your entire photography experience, from the planning stages to your actual session and following the completion of your specially edited images, I am there for any and all questions or ideas you may want to bring to the creation and completion of your photos.

I now focus exclusively on maternity photography, newborn photography, family photography, and seniors/lifestyle photography.
